Free Valentine’s Day Cards

So, it has been a while since the last time I gave you people some free printables. I know I am the worst person ever, but, in my defense, I have been working on a nice illustration project that I’ll be sharing with you very soon. However, with February 14th so close and me, being in a super corny mode, I decided to give you free Valentine’s day cards!

Books = Love

You should know by now that I’m the bookish kind of girl, so I though: why not put together a collection inspired by something I love? And that’s how these literary Valentines happened.

I’ll admit, they may be a bit sarcastic… OK, a lot. But nothing says “I love you” more than a literary reference. Am I right?

The Harry Potter Card

I couldn’t illustrate this collection without including Hermione Granger. Hermione is one of my favourite characters ever and the way she manages her complicated relationship with Ron, although not ideal, I think it’s quite memorable. Of course I had to illustrate something that honoured her and I came up with this card.

The Pride and Prejudice Card

One of my first book crushes? Mr. Darcy of course. I don’t know. There’s just something about a douche bag that makes you think that you may change him. I mean, Mr. Darcy was a pretty decent guy, but the way he transformed himself along the book just melts the heart of any girl with issues.

The card does not feature a direct quote, but I took a bit of a creative licence and I paraphrased a little bit. If you think about it, it’s quite romantic.

The Game of Thrones Card

Again, nerd alert, but with the emotional roller coaster that Game of Thrones was last year, I couldn’t leave it out. Minimalistic, I know, but it still manages to express a bunch of feelings with just one word… OK, no, but it’s funny, right?

Bonus

I almost forgot. I made this extra Valentine’s day card featuring Gollum from Lord of the Rings. I didn’t have time to print it and take pictures of it, but you can still download it if you have someone geeky in your life that you care for.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy these Valentine’s day cards and that you share them with someone special. To download Hermione’s card click here, for Mr. Darcy click here, for Hodor, here, and for Gollum here. If you have any troubles make sure to message me.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Love,
