Free bookmarks inspired in fantasy literature

I love illustrating and I love reading, so I thought what better way to mix both loves than with free bookmarks for all of you.

Before hitting the road I used to work in the creative department of a library so one of my jobs was to design free stuff for the students (it was a hard job, I know). I really loved sharing my work with others, so I will be doing it in The DreamPacker too! I’ll be giving freebies every now and then. But I like this set in particular because is inspired in fantasy books.

I based the bookmarks on Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak, Wicked by Gregory Maguire and, of course, Alice in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll.

Wicked and Alice in Wonderland bookmarks had very colourful palettes, but for Where the Wild Things Are I used a warmer colour scheme, because I felt the story was a bit more rough, behind all the fantasy layer.

If you like them, feel free to download them in here. You just have to print them in an A4 sized paper. Don’t forget to comment and share!
